Equine Yoga: What is it?
Equine Yoga is the gentle union of two ancient disciplines, yoga and horsemanship, brought together to create a shared practice of presence, balance, and healing for both human and horse. Unlike traditional yoga practiced on a mat in a studio, Equine Yoga takes place in a barn, a pasture, or an arena, with the horse as your living, breathing partner.
At its heart, Equine Yoga is not about perfect poses or intense physical exertion. It is about connection. The practice invites you to slow down, sync your breath with the rhythm of your horse, and move in harmony alongside or atop them. Poses are adapted to be done standing beside your horse, leaning gently into their body, or seated in the saddle—always with the horse's comfort, consent, and well-being honored first.
What Is Its Purpose?
The purpose of Equine Yoga is twofold: to ground and center the human, and to offer the horse a experience of calm, trust, and physical release. Horses are incredibly intuitive beings, they mirror the energy, emotions, and tension we carry. When you arrive scattered, anxious, or rushed, your horse feels it. When you arrive centered, breathing deeply, and fully present, your horse responds in kind.
Equine Yoga serves as a groundwork practice for the human, a way to regulate your own nervous system, improve your posture and alignment, and develop the mental focus necessary to be a calm, trustworthy partner for your horse. At the same time, it offers the horse the gift of your full, undivided attention—a chance to be seen, respected, and connected with on their terms.
Reiki for All
(pronounced "ray-key") What Is Its Purpose?
The purpose of Reiki is to restore balance. Over time, stress, trauma, injury, and everyday life can create blockages or congestion in our energy systems. For humans, this might show up as chronic tension, burnout, or emotional heaviness. For horses and other animals, it often appears as behavioral issues, unexplained physical discomfort, or a persistent wariness that no amount of patience seems to reach.
Reiki does not diagnose, prescribe, or force outcomes. Instead, it creates the conditions for the body's own natural healing abilities to wake up and do their work. By inviting the nervous system to shift from fight/flight/freeze into rest and digest, Reiki helps both humans and animals release what they no longer need to carry — physically, emotionally, and energetically.
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice.
The word itself means "universal life energy" the vital life force that flows through every living being. A Reiki practitioner serves as a calm, focused channel for this energy, allowing it to flow where it is most needed in the recipient's body, mind, and spirit.
Unlike medical treatments that force change from the outside in, Reiki works from the inside out. It can be offered with light touch or completely hands-off, making it especially well-suited for animals who may be wary of being handled. The practitioner simply holds a grounded, intentional space, and the recipient's own body guides the energy to wherever healing is needed — whether that is a sore muscle, an anxious mind, a grieving heart, or a nervous system stuck in survival mode.

Why I Do What I Do
I do it for you. I do it for them.
Horses have been my one true love since I was a child. Their wellbeing and happiness is paramount to me and being able to heal and support them is why I am here on this planet. Through the practices of yoga and reiki I am able to meet the people that need me most.
Even if you don’t realize it, your horse has been asking for you to take deeper notice to that issue you’ve been putting off, so your rides are more fun!
Don’t you want that type of experience with your Equine Bestie?
I know its the only way I want to be with my horses; relaxed, curious, happy, loved, and ready to nap in the sunshine.
Are you ready for that type of bond with your horse and more importantly; yourself?
